How it works.
Three simple moments: the admin opens, contributors give, the pot goes to the beneficiary — always under human approval.
Open the pot
The admin picks the category, the beneficiary, a title, and an optional target. The pot can stay private or surface in the public "Discover" feed.
Contribute
Each contributor gives what they want. The pot is live, the beneficiary sees every arrival, and contributors can request a partial or full refund (with admin approval) while the pot is still open.
Pay the beneficiary
On close, the admin (and the president if any) approves the payout. 0.5% MMC fee retained, the rest goes to the beneficiary. Optional premium 500 XAF to broadcast a message to every contributor.

President validation: when a president is set, the payout waits for their green light in their inbox — non-dismissible until they decide.
Contributor refund: while the pot is open, you can request all or part of your contribution back. The admin reviews.

No. Tonti is not a bank. Funds move through escrow accounts at our BEAC-licensed mobile-money and banking partners.

Signing up is free. We take a small 1% commission on the total pot when it is paid out to the beneficiary.

Tonti applies the penalties pre-approved by the group quorum and notifies the president. The defaulting member can settle from MoMo in one tap.
